Area Manager, Operations
We have a full-time role for a Area Manager at Browns Corporate Office. The ideal person has a background in multi-unit restaurant leadership, preferably in a franchise environment. This person needs to be able to teach, uphold and role model all operating standards and systems. Energy, passion, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task are critical for this role.
The Area Manager role will report directly to the Vice President of Operations. This position is based out of our Corporate Restaurant location, with most time spent in various Browns restaurant locations and the Corporate Office.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Support new restaurant openings
- Manage all training materials
- Perform restaurant audits and location visits
- Training & Development of existing and new standards/ systems to the franchise community
- Completion sign-off of all training for new franchisees and managers
- Support Vice President of Operations with meetings, Business Reviews, seminars, etc…
- Oversee Corporate “Training & Testing” location (s)
Must have:
- Vehicle
- Serving it Right, First Aid, Food Safe levels 1 & 2
- Strong eye for detail
- Solid organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per month
