About Browns
“People always ask me ‘What is a Browns Socialhouse?’ We serve fresh, tasty food in a lively room that’s fun, full of energy and designed to be as comfy as my living room… without the dog hair” – Scotty Morison
Eat . Drink . Repeat
In June 2004, Scott Morison first opened the doors to Browns on Lonsdale in North Vancouver. Scott set out to create a business model where people who had invested their time working in and operating restaurants could own a piece of the pie. In other words, every Browns Socialhouse is owned and operated by locals who have a vested interest in their community and the success of the brand.
Today Browns Socialhouse continues to design extraordinary restaurants and lounges. Scott incorporates global attitudes and trends with classic styling and core design principles. He brings a unique approach to design with special attention to ergonomics and comfortable décor.
Browns restaurants are constantly searching for new opportunities and ideas to create incredible restaurants. It is our goal to leave people hooked on the atmosphere and ambiance, as well as the unique items that we provide.
